Cebu Pacific Sucks!

irenejane asked:

This happened to a good friend of mine, last June 28, 2008. They were at Kalibo Airport for a flight back to Manila.

Flight was supposed to leave by 6pm and they were not advised by anyone from Cebu Pacific that their flight was already canceled.

It was only after several people went to the ticket counter that they found out that their flight was canceled.

No announcements of any kind was done until about 6:45pm.

Cebu Pacific claimed that it was due to weather issues. A complete Lie!

As you can see from the background it might have been drizzling from time to time but certainly nothing that would lead to a cancelation.

In fact a PAL Express Flight left the same airport in full view of everyone at around 6:05pm

The fact that supposed Airport Manager JUN RABE was very rude and insensitive to the passengers did not help at all.

Please do not fly this so called airline.

Ive had similar experiences in the past as well as many of my friends with more horrific stories.

Save yourself from the stress, crappy service and the hassle.

cebu pacific sucks. We’re not the only one with this opinion. And opinion is free in this country you uneducated hack.

you know, you are absolutely correct on that. i thought about it and it wasn’t like this when they first started. and as soon as they got their new A320s, they lost it…they just completely dropped the ball. i’ve told anyone here in the U.S. that if they travel to P.I., avoid 5J if you can.

Their service was much better before. Now that they have the new a320’s (which were leased from Singapore) they lost their focus on providing excellent service (which they used to deliver) and set their attention to adding new schedules (and having a hard time flying them given the limited number of resources–planes and pilots–that they have) filling-up empty seats, increasing profits, and paying off the leases on the planes, which they might have underestimated before they even got them.

well, it’s a low cost airline. you got what you paid for. ‘Flew with ‘em last april, ceb-mnl. Showed up at ATO 5 mins from their so-called cut-off time. However, it took 10 mins for the check-in agent to pull-up my booking. As a result, i was 5 minutes late. System won’t let me fly unless I pay $150 to rebook. I sucked it up or i could’ve missed my connex. Bottomline, i was flying a low-cost carrier. So, I really can’t expect a decent system of service from ‘em. Not flying 5J ever again.

wow, another genius. point of origin and destination for both PAL and Cebu Pac is the same.

See comment that says - “No announcements of any kind was done until about 6:45pm”

and

“PAL Express Flight left the same airport in full view of everyone at around 6:05pm”

btw the analogy between airlines and 7-11 totally fits… completely applicable.

Youtube geniuses.

sheesh.

you are in kalibo right? maybe the bad weather was in manila so why did you not just got to the other airline pal express

#11 irenejane on 08.21.08 at 3:57 am

And what about the PAL Express flight that just took off? Is bad weather conditional per airline???

And finally you Cebu Pac employee…

We do know how to read… maybe YOU should learn how to SPELL?

“There” and “they’re” sound the same, but they don’t mean the same thing.

Xeancody, you should know by now that we also work in the airline industry and we know full well the different types of BS the airlines use to avoid liability.

IF there really was bad weather, then it’s ok. BUT look at the video you genius, do you see bad weather?
