Is there sound on the TVs? Do they give out headphones or something or do you have to supply your own?

I like that Virgin America still uses United Airlines terminal and gates.

Just prior to take-off and after landing.

Oh God, AA blows, and UA is just about as bad.

Actually I did fly with Virgin Atlantic when I went over to the UK in January 2003. It’s quite a great airline to fly with, I gotta agree. I’d go with them again, but the UK is horrible to travel to right now to Americans (especially for us Californians who are on the other side of the country) thanks to the strong pound and weak dollar.

It was a bit of a bouce, but it wasn’t as bad as the one I had last week on United from Frankfurt to Chicago. That was quite a racket! Let’s hope VX continues to fly since they’ve asked the feds not to disclose their profit losses.

Great video, but novice pilot it seems. ;) Looks like you got quite the bounce when landing in San Fran. I’m guessing it was pretty windy, but I had to laugh at the bounce. Otherwise, awesome video, looking forward to short hops on VX in the near future.

Well, you and the camera did an excellent job. You should keep doing these videos, they help a lot! Your video made me buy 2 plane tickets with VA.

Thank you for liking it! I’m still new to this youtube world. Since you asked, my camera is a Sony Cyber-shot 7.2 megapixels. It’s a a very handy camera. It’s been all over America and Europe with me, and takes great pictures and videos.

Awesome. I’m flying Virgin America from Las Vegas to SFO on the 15th. Nervous because I’m slightly wary of airplanes, excited because the plane looks incredible. So if I die in a plane crash, at least I’m going out in style.

Just a correction Virgin America has a FIRST CLASS on all aircrafts.

#24 EvilAtHeart on 09.06.08 at 9:14 pm

Nice video mate, i couldnt help chuckling at the single class config of the A320, truly “Cattle” class, but atleast Virgin looks better than the other peice of shit airlines operating cough cough *AA*

At the time I purchased the tickets, it was around $49 each way. Their website is pretty good at giving you a breakdown.

As for the runway at SFO in bad condition, it isn’t at all. It’s just the landing and my shaky camera skills.
